Our world still runs on oil, despite major breakthroughs in renewable energy, waste reduction, and public awareness of the oil industry. We're making gradual progress toward greener energy sources for business, infrastructure, and our daily lives, but we still have a long way to go before we can totally abandon fossil fuels.
